We started this network in a Portland apartment on a wet March afternoon in 2010, when the only organized Zooey Deschanel resource on the web was a defunct LiveJournal and a Geocities shrine last updated in 2003. Fourteen years, nine months, and twenty-eight thousand four hundred captioned photographs later, we are still here — nine contributors, three senior editors, and a fourteen-person volunteer moderation council, working out of a small office on SE Division Street.
We are not officially endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated on behalf of Zooey Deschanel or her representatives. We are fans. We treat her career — from Almost Famous to New Girl to the next She & Him record — as a living timeline worth preserving with care, accuracy, and a little indie romance.
